Eastern “Orthodox” – Manmade Religion for Zombies

Bergoglio and Patrich Kirill.

Should Catholics who are demoralized by Antipope Bergoglio switch their religious affiliation to Eastern Orthodox?

No, because it’s a different religion, manmade for zombies who don’t follow the 1st Commandment, preferring to blaspheme the Holy Ghost and dishonor the Blessed Virgin. Plus, it’s a clique for the Russian KGB, including “Patriarch” Kirill, who has no more authority than Jorge Bergoglio. Frankly, you’d be better off starting your own church, just as they did.

“Ecce quam bonum et quam jucundum, habitare fratres in unum.” Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in unity. Psalm 132:1.

. . . unless you prefer to go your own way and fracture into a bunch of “autocephalous” units like our “friends” from the east.

The antichurch villains (Bergo, Tucho, and buds), have made retreating to other religious sects (or worse) much more appealing to fainthearted Catholics. However, expatriating from the antichurch to Eastern Heterodoxy is the spiritual equivalent of switching from “femme gay” to “butch gay.” Both are evil, faggoty, and sinful.

Instead, your hope rests with Our Lord’s True Church, found in radical traditional Catholicism (not just “conservative,” either). Let’s explore several reasons you won’t resolve your spiritual melancholy by switching to Eastern Heterodoxy.

Eastern Heterodox Church – Maybe One Mark (Not Four)

Four marks of Catholicism.

Traditional Catholics enjoy the Church’s four marks: One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic.

How many would we find among the Eastern Heterodox? Since half of the adherents are stuck in Russia, it’s difficult to consider it universal. They’re certainly not one because you can find many competitors among them (more on this later).

Unlike the Anglicans, they possess valid orders, which stretch back to the apostles. However, there’s nothing holy about blaspheming the Holy Spirit by denying His proceeding from both the Father & the Son.

Therefore, the Heterodoxers are batting a paltry .250 as it pertains to the four marks.

With that in mind, let’s discuss Russia some more . . .

Russia – A Sad Surrogate for the Heterodox Remnant

Russia is in horrible shape, and home to half of the world’s Heterodoxers.

Note: this doesn’t mean their rival, Ukraine, is a fantastic place either.

Both crooked nation-states are in turmoil, which is what happens when the predominant religion insults Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, by denying the Filioque. It’s like driving one of the three nails into Our Crucified Lord even harder.

I wrote back in 2021 (before the Russia/Ukraine conflict) about Russia’s abysmal demographics as evidence for the lack of a proper consecration to Our Lady. Here were some of the relevant Russian data:

  • The Worldwide Leader in Abortion – 53.7 per 10,000 women (dwarfing even the 20.8 per 10,000 women in murderous America).
  • Suicides Galore – Ninth in the world in 2019 (25.1 per 100,000)
  • Alcoholism – Russian men have the highest rates of alcoholism in the world.
  • Single Motherhood – Only the U.S. has more single moms. Divorce is rampant as well.
  • Enormous Gap Between Male/Female Life Expectancy – There’s a reason you’ve heard the term “Russian Mail-Order Bride.” That’s because the men die off or become alcoholics way out of proportion with the rest of the world, leaving Russian gals with few domestic-born suitors. That country’s overall life expectancy is about 74, while Russian men live to a meager 64.

Russia, because of its accursed Eastern Heterodoxy, and the lack of consecration to the Blessed Virgin, suffers a most pitiful plight.

“Eastern” Heterodoxy – Geopolitical Proto-Protestantism

The Eastern Heterodox were the original Protestants when they split from the Church in 1054, before eventually splintering into numerous other pieces. Leaving aside the “Oriental Orthodox” churches, they now comprise 15 autocephalous churches, 10 autonomous churches, two more with “disputed autocephaly,” seven non-universally recognized churches, and five other “separated” groups. Somewhere in their midst, you’ll find a partridge in a pear tree, too.

There isn’t sufficient space here to demonstrate that these groups don’t get along well (to put it mildly). Then we shall see that this allegedly dogmatic, east-west dispute is completely rife with geopolitics. Apparently, we should accept that all the folks who held to the true apostolic tradition revolted in the same direction toward the east.

Why should we believe the Holy Spirit would grant the truth only to those on one side of a geographical feud? Do the Eastern Heterodox believe they, like the ancient Hebrews, were led out of a proverbial Egypt into a new Promised Land? Alas, suicidal, divorce-happy, abortion-rampant Russia hasn’t been too promising (neither has Greece nor the rest of eastern Europe).

To make a long story short, this split was not one of religion, but rather the unholy mixture of it with secular politics. Much of the awful 1054 schism originates in the 9th century, when the Emperor of Constantinople played games by replacing that territory’s very important patriarch.

This involved deposing the holy patriarch, St. Ignatius, only to supplant him with a layman, Photios, who would be more favorable to the secular regime (and oppose Rome). This understandably perturbed the holy pope, St. Nicholas, and eventually led to the 1054 revolt. You can read much more about this horrible story of religious/political manipulation from this article by the scholar, Plinio Correa de Oliveira.

Our non-Christian enemies must believe we’re a bunch of loons for entertaining these bizarre fractures among Christendom as legitimate “Christian perspectives.” Even the Shia/Sunni split among the Muzzies made more sense. While there have been geographical demarcations throughout salvific history (Judah and Jerusalem, for example), they rarely involved dogmatic disputes.

Considering all this, it shouldn’t surprise us that the eastern folks have been even more vulnerable to political wickedness than western civilization (especially 20th-century communism). They’ve been in dire straits for centuries, including the conquering of their precious Constantinople by Muslims, who made it their imperial capital, before eventually refashioning it into today’s hideous “Istanbul.”

By their fruits . . .

Ready to Switch to Homosexuality (Heterodoxy)? Get Ready to Embrace These Horrible Beliefs

If you pursue the Heterodox religion, prepare to acclimate yourself to many ideas opposite to those you once held as a Roman Catholic. You really are making a “lifestyle” change. Even the phrase “going Eastern Orthodox” sounds suspiciously similar to “going gay.”

Instead, you to stay straight . . . on the narrow path, with the Church, even with its eclipse by the abominable Bergoglian antipapacy. Otherwise, if you “go Eastern Heterodox,” you’ll have to contend with several foreign beliefs . . .

  1. Rejection of the Filioque – The word, pneumatology, refers to the theological study of the Holy Spirit, the “Breath of the Lord.” Alas, the Eastern Heterodox seem to have caught pneumonia with their appalling take on the 3rd Person of the Holy Trinity. By appalling, I mean blasphemous, because it discards Our Lord’s divine relationship with the 3rd Person of the Holy Trinity. Heterodoxers reject the dogma of the Holy Spirit proceeding from both the Father and The Son, as we profess in the Creed. It’s awful, considering how easy it is to verify the Filioque by reading St. John’s account of the gospel. In John 14:16, Our Lord promises to send His advocate who will come in His Name. He also mentions several times that the Father is in Him and He in the Father. Logically, we can deduce that the Holy Spirit must proceed from both. We could go much further into this theological dispute (between the two different religions), but the takeaway is that the Heterodoxers invented a new dogmatic interpretation. This contrasts with the True Church’s position. Catholics have always believed the Holy Spirit proceeds principally from the Father, but not exclusively, since the Father is in the Son, and the Son in the Father.
  2. No More Immaculate Conception or Assumption of Mary – The eastern heretics only espouse two of the four Marian dogmas. So, while they believe in Her Perpetual Virginity/Sinlessness and Motherhood of God, they reject the dogmas of the Immaculate Conception and Assumption. Our Lady, regardless of their delusions, did not just fall asleep. According to pious tradition, albeit with less reliable authorship, Our Lady met the apostles one last time. Following the dormition, she even gave St. Thomas her girdle and blessing. This is a long-standing traditional account, and worthy of belief, if only you’d cease allowing today’s modernists to Jedi mind trick you into thinking otherwise.
  3. Divorce & Remarriage – If you find Antipope Bergoglio objectionable (as you should), because of his heresy in Amoris Laetitia, then you’ll find little solace with the Eastern Heterodox. That’s because they permit divorce and remarriage up to three times, provided you can mumble a few words about abuse or abandonment (just like in the Bergoglian antichurch). Maybe that’s why Russia has such a high divorce rate. Again, let us remember how Our Lord commanded us to judge false teachers and teachings by their fruits. The Eastern heretics have some of the most rotten social and spiritual produce (divorce, suicide, etc.), contrary to recent popular propaganda. This is because they’ve spent 1,000 years pretend-shepherding away from the True Church, all the while creating loads of horrible doctrine.

Michael Davies’ Argument: “They’re Not in Schism”

The respected traditional Catholic writer, Michael Davies, held the position that the Eastern Heterodox have not been in schism from the Catholic Church. He cites, among other reasons, a change in the Church hierarchy’s terminology:

“. . . to the best of my knowledge it has not been the usage of the Holy See to refer to the orthodox as schismatics for a century or more.”

You can read more about Davies’ arguments here, part of a back-and-forth debate with traditionalist Attila Guimaraes. While I can appreciate Davies’ attempt to bring nuance to this subject, I believe his position misses the point.

St. Thomas Aquinas explains an unavoidable link between heresy and schism (but not always vice-a-versa). You can see this in his “Reply to Objection 3” on the topic of “whether schism is a special sin.”

Wherefore just as faith and charity are different virtues, although whoever lacks faith lacks charity, so too schism and heresy are different vices, although whoever is a heretic is also a schismatic, but not conversely.

What significance does this have for the discussion of this manmade religion?

As we’ve seen, the Eastern Heterodox are no strangers to heresy, in the eyes of the traditional Church, regardless of the hierarchy’s weaker stance over the past century. The Heterodox not only reject Marian dogmas and the Filioque but also fail to recognize the papacy (the legitimate office, not Bergoglio’s facade). So, if what St. Thomas says is true, connecting heresy and schism, then these examples totally disqualify the Eastern Heterodox from communion.

But, The Schism Talk Is Still Irrelevant

Nevertheless, if Eastern Heterodoxy is a different religion, why do we waste time with terms like schism and heresy?

Consider how absurd this seems when applied to other (more obviously perverse) superstitions and “religions.” Is anyone worried over whether heart-consuming voodoo doctors are in schism? Perhaps we should also waste energy, as some do, mulling over the heresies in Islam, a “faith” where their deity permits almost limitless fornication with any ambulatory creature.

Indiana Jones villian.
“Oh wait, did I just schism by ripping out that guy’s heart and dunking him in the lava?”

As usual, let’s stop overemphasizing the logistics of heresy and schism. It’s unnecessary when the discrepancies between belief systems are supermassive. Moreover, if you don’t draw a hard line on such differences, you open the floodgates for universalism, which was the intention of the modernist Vatican 2 hijackers.

All Other Religions are Wicked; Making Ecumenism Always Evil

While on this topic, I’d like to reiterate how much ecumenism (espoused by the Bergoglians, modernists, and Vatican-2 folks) is unequivocal garbage. There can be no dialogue or “consensus building” with deviant religions, whether they be Hindus, Muslims, Eastern Heterodox, Protesters, Heart Snatchers, Dog Worshippers, Jews, etc.

“Wait, but didn’t JP2, Benedict, et al. promote ecumenism?”

Yes, because they feared the communists (including the Eastern Heterodox) who would probably kill them. Did you forget how they wouldn’t include “Russia” in all those consecration attempts? It’s because they feared reprisal.

“Nobody would ever kill a pope!”

Oh yeah? Tell that to the first 30 pontiffs.

“But that doesn’t happen anymore!!”

Then you must have forgotten that poor pope who could have had a nice long reign, but died suddenly because he couldn’t play ball.

“So, how long have the clergy been scared into a corner and forced to do fake ecumenism?”

I would imagine since about the time they lost the Papal States in 1870. Once one loses all (earthly) territory, there’s a tendency to become more amenable to negotiation. At either rate, Pope Saint Pius X was effectively the last one to hold things together. Look at what happened to the world right after he died (the catastrophic World War I).

This is even true of Cardinal Eugenio Pacelli (a good man, anti-communist, and future Pope Pius XII) who silenced American priests in order to foster diplomacy. Pacelli, like so many other “negotiators,” placed excessive emphasis on gaining diplomatic recognition from swamp creatures like FDR and Joseph P. Kennedy.

Concluding Thoughts

Here at this blog, the editorial staff believes Catholics have God-given brains, and unlike zombies (who only eat them), should use them. That’s how you avoid falling for surreptitious folks (including Heterodoxers) who lure you into their ecclesiastical gingerbread house with “gorgeous liturgies” and other mere trappings of tradition.

Witch luring children.
“Come here, my sweet little papists. Feast your eyes on my jolly icons and magnificent vestments. You don’t need that ‘Traditional Latino Mass’ thingy. My liturgy is positively divine!”

Aside from avoiding theological scams and distractions, what else should we do in the meantime?

Stay far away from the world’s various gingerbread houses. Always pray the Rosary and honor Our Lady under all four Marian dogmas. Offer the Fourth Glorious Mystery for the conversion of Eastern Heterodoxers. Remain in a state of grace and resist all other temptations (false religions, Bergoglio, UFOs, drugs, and so forth).
