In Japan (and they are available in specialty stores too), they sell small trays of pure white sand, and a little wooded rake about the size of a pen. The point is to run the rake thru the sand, making lines and furrows, and its supposed to relax you. Sounds ridiculous, but it does actually have a calming effect to run the rake thru the sand, and make whatever design you want.
