A group of Catholics in Lebanon have launched a legal bid to prevent an upcoming performance by Portuguese priest Guilherme Peixoto. His "music" blends electronic dance beats with religious imagery. He is scheduled to perform at the AHM nightclub in Beirut on 10 January. The petitioners have submitted a request to a Beirut summary affairs judge, seeking to halt the concert. They argue that the performance 'undermines church values' and 'misrepresents Christian rituals', citing concerns over a priest performing as a DJ in a nightclub. However, resorting to the state in such matters is futile. Padre Peixoto is due to preside over a Eucharist in Kaslik on the same day. Supporters rightly argue that his ministry and artistic work are officially recognised by church authorities in many countries. He also performed at World Youth Day in Lisbon in 2023, just before Pope Francis's Eucharist. #newsFaulcgdlqq
Saint Mark 12:17 Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-19: “Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?”
"26. The second consists in entertaining for our Lady deeper feelings of esteem and love, of confidence and veneration. This devotion inspires us to join the confraternities of the Holy Rosary and the Scapular, to say the five or fifteen decades of the Rosary, to venerate our Lady's pictures and shrines, to make her known to others, and to enroll in her sodalities."
[Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort – XVII-XVIII Century AD; Montfort-sur-Meu, France/Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre, France; aged 43, Total consecration to Jesus through Mary] Second part ~ What perfect devotion to Mary consists in I. Some true devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary 24. There are indeed several true devotions to our Lady. I do not intend treating of those which are false. 25. The first consists in fulfilling the duties of our Christian state, avoiding all mortal sin, performing our actions for God more through love than through fear, praying to our Lady occasionally, and honouring her as the Mother of God, but without our devotion to her being exceptional. 26. The second consists in entertaining for our Lady deeper feelings of esteem and love, of confidence and veneration. This devotion inspires us to join the confraternities of the Holy Rosary and the Scapular, to say the five or fifteen decades of the Rosary, to venerate our Lady's pictures and shrines, to make her known …Mwy
Top Vatican insider RISKS EVERYTHING to denounce synodality as NOT CATHOLIC Doctrinal confusion grows within the Catholic Church, as discussed in this conversation referencing insights from Professor William Thomas’ recent warnings about modernism and ambiguity from Church leaders. The panel discusses how silence, compromise, and contradictory messaging, especially on issues like sexuality, migration, and ecclesial reform, are eroding trust among the faithful. The conversation critiques the replacement of clear, revealed truth with emotion-driven theology and political convenience, arguing this shift contributes to the unraveling of moral and spiritual coherence. Referencing Venezuela, the hosts examine how Catholic social teaching is often selectively applied, depending on the political climate. The episode calls for renewed moral courage, fidelity to tradition, and resistance to the theological drift reshaping the Church from within. Source: Top Vatican insider RISKS EVERYTHING to …Mwy
Pope Leo XIV delivering the English summary of his first General Audience catechesis of a new cycle on Vatican II, saying: “We see that the documents have lost none of their relevance and are pertinent to the demands and challenges of today. Closely studying the Council documents will help us to be attentive interpreters of the signs of the times, and to proclaim the Gospel to all.”
Several sources confirmed that the Mass in the Roman rite was not mentioned at the consistory on 7–8 January. South African Cardinal Wilfrid Napier, 84, told Edward Pentin that the Roman Latin Mass was not discussed: "I think the main point was how to get the whole Church to evangelise at the same level." Cardinal Jean-Paul Vesco, 63, of Algeria, confirmed to Niwa Limbu that they had not discussed any form of liturgy: "We talked about the importance of the Eucharist in the context. of synodality." However, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller told EWTN that the cardinals had discussed the liturgy and the "old" and "new" rites: "I think Pope Leo will find a good solution for everyone." Only two dozen of the 170 cardinals were able to speak during the 'free interventions'. Speaker of the Vatican press office Matteo Bruni added in the evening that future consistories will be held once a year and last 3–4 days. The next consistory is planned for 27–28 June. #newsZnxlpxmwqb
Once again, Trad, Inc. has been tricked by the enemy and played like a violin. Hoodwinked and bamboozled. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch.
Ron Paul: Trump/Vance was presented as "the peace ticket," and was voted in with the expectation of focusing on America instead of the rest of the world. But alas, the addiction to Empire has proven to be too strong once again. The Trump Administration has been laser-focused on foreign nations, while our own nation continues to struggle quite substantially. Yesterday, the president even proposed a $1.5 TRILLION military budget. Are we reaching the mania phase, or what market traders call the "blowoff top" of Empire?
La découverte du meurtre de Charlie Kirk prend forme. Un micro qui explose sur la poitrine ressemble trop à un bipeur qui explose. N'oubliez pas les vertus intellectuelles.
St. Theresa of Avila emphasizes in her book "The Way of Perfection" that the graces of the Holy Spirit do not come in isolation. Rather if one grace is available to a person, all are. That is she says how one can discern a true calling. If one gets a hint of Fortitude without Holy Fear, Wisdom without Counsel, etc then something is suspect. So if you feel called to God's grace in His Church, don't forget the intellectual virtues.
Charlie’s Voice Rising @CharlieK_news Federal prosecutors just blew the lid off a $7 MILLION SNAP fraud scheme in Boston. Two Haitian nationals have been charged for running so-called “ghost stores” — tiny shops with barely any inventory that were somehow cashing $540,000 a MONTH in EBT. Let that sink in. That’s SIX TIMES the SNAP volume of a real, fully stocked supermarket. The stores were allegedly used to trade EBT for cash and illegal items, draining taxpayer funds at an insane scale. This wasn’t a corner store hustle. This was industrial-level fraud. And people still wonder where the money goes.
"Oh my God! Source of all mercy! I acknowledge Thy sovereign power. While recalling the wasted years that are past, I believe that Thou, Lord, can in an instant turn this loss to gain. Miserable as I am, yet I firmly believe that Thou can do all things. Please restore to me the time lost, giving me Thy grace, Both now and in the future, that I may appear before Thee in wedding garments. Amen."
