The death penalty always bothered me. For a few reasons. Forgive and you shall be forgiven. And there is no greater punishment on earth than to pay for their crimes. There is always a chance they can convert. Be merciful as your Father in Heaven is merciful. Luke 6:36. It's always bothered me a lot. I can't see the purpose of ending a life. And not only that, but he gets away with years of punishment and gives him the easy way out by death. He ill be punished in the next life as it is. I just don't see how it's a good thing at all.
