When the Paraclete comes. Homily for the feast of Pentecost, Year B. The Bible is the story of creation and re-creation. In the book of Genesis we read the story of God’s creation of the world, and of human wilfulness. The New Testament tells the story of God’s re-creation of a rebellious and alienated world. With the coming of the Spirit upon the disciples God’s re-creation of this rebellious and alienated world has begun. In the Johannine literature the Spirit is referred to as the Пαράκλητος (Paraklētos) in the Greek New Testament - a word that does not have an exact English equivalent. fr.geoffreyplant

I conclude that many of the Superiors of the Society are prepared to enter into an agreement with the Conciliar Church, where that agreement is a practical agreement (only), without a doctrinal resolution and the terms of which would mean that the Society would be subject to the Conciliar Church. I conclude that the conduct of many of the Superiors of the Society in relation to a possible agreement with the Conciliar Church represents a staggering change from the Society’s principles and direction. I conclude that the position adopted by many of the Superiors of the Society in relation to such an agreement is contrary to the position of the Society’s founder, Archbishop Lefebvre.”

Mexico's federal appeals court in April rejected an attempt by a transvestite propagandist to force the Church to alter baptismal records in favour of a person's self-declaration. In 2021, a man suffering from gender ideas of being a 'woman' argued that Mexican privacy law required the Diocese of Querétaro to comply with the request, regardless of biological reality and historical facticity. As a result, Mexico's National Data Protection Institute ruled that the diocese had to amend the baptismal records. The diocese challenged the decision and won in a district court. An appeals court now upheld the decision on the grounds that the Church has a constitutionally protected right to manage its internal affairs without government interference. She tried to enrol in a four-year course to become a deacon, but was turned down, and sees this rejection as "gender discrimination".
