When you look at Vatican II -- actually read the documents .. you really have to scratch your head and ask, what happened?

Regarding liturgical music: Did you notice the statement after the highlighted sentence? It says "But other kinds of music, especially polyphony, are by no means excluded...." This "But" sentence opens the door to other kinds of music. Vatican II documents are vague and difficult to read; they open the doors to our current sate of the Church. Who is to blame?
