The implementation phase of the synod “will mark a new stage in the reception of the Second Vatican Council,” Cardinal Mario Grech warned the consistory on Saturday. He is a Cardinal and the Vatican's Secretary of the Synod. His lengthy speech, which was around 3,000 words long, was published on Zenit.org. Much of it was frankly repetitive, focusing on buzzwords such as listening, discernment, communion, participation, the 'exchange of gifts', implementation, and 'conversation in the Spirit'. In terms of density of ideas, the speech was pretty low. The essential message was • the Synod is not over. • implementation is the real work. • synodality should become part of the Church's ordinary life. • this is the next stage of Vatican II. Two key sentences were: "The discernment of the signs of the times, ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, and the commitment to justice and peace become measures of the Church's diakonia." "In this way, the implementation phase becomes a new stage …Caman

A 29-year-old monk from the independent Abbey of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue in central France, who had been missing since Tuesday evening, was found safe on Friday. The Benedictine-inspired community in Virlet, in the Puy-de-Dôme department, was formerly affiliated with the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). It aligned in 2019 with the movement associated with Bishop Richard Williamson. French gendarmes launched a search operation on Wednesday morning, deploying ground teams and aerial resources to locate the missing religious. According to LaMontagne.fr, the monk was found alive and without apparent injuries near Limoges, approximately 170 kilometers (105 miles) west of the monastery. Authorities have not disclosed how the monk came to be so far from the monastery or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. They have released no information suggesting criminal involvement, nor have they indicated whether he left voluntarily or experienced a medical or psychological …Caman
This is why mexican people always help other people no matter who they are, race, nationality or economic status, like the help they've provided many times to the U.S. and other parts of the world without interest, without asking to have all their expenses to travel or stay, or food covered. It's because it comes from childhood, as they learn to work out of necessity, and gladly and lovingly help their parents and people.
In his May 2026 lecture at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, Cardinal Víctor "Tucho" Fernández said: "Sometimes it takes a madman, desperately in love with his land and his people, capable of separating the Gospel from certain cultural husks that have become attached to it but are not an essential part of its message, and of rereading it in the light of what his people are living today." Tucho added: "Ultimately, it is the Gospel, written within an ancient culture, that now acquires another 'flesh' in popular rites, venerated images, aphorisms and customs, reflections, ways of living the faith, and in music." On 25 June, Carlos Daniel Lasa wrote on ElWanderer.com that Tucho's contextual theology displaces Revelation and makes the lived experience of each people the decisive point for theology. Tucho relativises immutable doctrine and reduces theology to historical interpretation. Lasa's central thesis is even more far-reaching: Pope Francis sought to "refound" the Church, appointed …Caman
The Apostolic faith speaks to the eternal essence of God and the unchanging struggle of humans which is resolved by the timeless sacrifice on Calvary. Tucho claims that what he doesn't like in the Apostolic faith are cultural accretions. He is wrong. Lace, the mitre, and even his red zucchetto are cultural accretions. The seven deadly sins and sins which cry out to Heaven for vengeance are as fundamental to salvation as DNA is to life. This may be painful for Tucho. My heart goes out to him. But salvation comes from taking up your cross and requires sacrifice of your own preferences for the sake of Christ.
"Dazzled" by God! Liturgy of Monday, June 29, 2026, Solemnity of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul Dear brothers and sisters, celebrating the Solemnity of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul means celebrating, in some way, what made them great: their faith in Jesus! Peter will be the first ever to profess faith in Jesus: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God," the fisherman from Capernaum in Caesarea Philippi will exclaim (Mt 16:13-19), after being "dazzled," in the words of Pope Francis, "by the omnipotent weakness of his divine love, by the irresistible force of his gentleness, and by the irreversible promise of his mercy." Paul, for his part, after being "dazzled" by the splendor of the Risen One on the road to Damascus, wrote to the faithful of the communities he founded during his apostolic journeys: "For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain..." (Phil 1:21). This life in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Gal 2:20) Faith …Caman
Our Lady Statue Found Intact After Caracas Earthquakes: Following the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, an undamaged statue of Our Lady holding the Child Jesus was discovered amid the destruction in Caracas. Leo XIV Wants Synodality - Cardinals more Clarity: Today, at the end of the Extraordinary Consistory, Pope Leo XIV asked the Cardinals to "support the implementation of the Synod with conviction" in their dioceses: "As Cardinal Grech said, synodality is not a set of meetings or a working method; it is a spiritual style." However, SilereNonPossum mentions that, following Cardinal Grech's presentation, several cardinals and prelates requested clarification.
Such a waste of time and financial resources. Nothing of real substance as regards the crisis of the loss of the substance of the Catholic Faith and the consequential effects on the salvation of souls was even mentioned. Simply, temporal concerns. The Synodal Church is like all other secular associations. Concern is for the affairs of this world only. Pray the Rosary, fast as much as you can, remain in a state of Sanctifying Grace at all costs. We are on the verge of a major correction/chastisement - as promised by Our Lady!
In a vision, St. Dominic Savio led St. John Bosco to a beautiful place in the afterlife. St. John Bosco said, "I never thought Heaven was so beautiful." Dominic replied, "This is not Heaven at all. You would not be able to bear that sight." (Likely it was the Limbus Puerorum.)
Problem with Bosco is the Salesians for some 70 years forbade illegitimate men from Priesthood candidacy. They called it an impediment. Frank Nugent, SDB, can tell you all about this. Funny he was charged with pedophilia a few years ago.
26 neoconservative theology professors from Franciscan University of Steubenville - including Scott Hahn, John Bergsma, Michael Waldstein, Mark Miravalle, and university president Fr. Dave Pivonka - has published an open letter urging the FSSPX not to proceed with episcopal consecrations without a pontifical mandate. They represent a substantial portion of Steubenville's influential Theology Department (about 30 faculty members). Their argument is that no crisis in the Church justifies an act that would further damage the Church's visible unity with the Pope.
Open letter addressed to the SSPX leadership by nearly all the theologians of Franciscan University of Steubenville. «We write not as adversaries, but as fellow Christians who love the Church, which is built on Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, and who, like you, long for the salvation of souls. Your love for the beauty of the traditional liturgy and your reverence in worship witness your earnest desire to serve the Lord. We share this love and desire.... The treasures of Catholic Tradition do not belong outside communion with Peter; they belong at the heart of the Church.»
Please attend to the nearly 50 "I reject" proclamations of the PoF, address them and stop the duck and hide, escape and evasion sophistry. It didn't work before and ain't gonna work now. M O D E R N I S M: the synthesis of all heresies.
White House Memo How Trump’s Political Agenda Is Shaped by His Own Obsessions President Trump’s priorities seem increasingly detached from the concerns of voters and his party. nytimes.com/…26/06/26/us/politics/trump-agenda-re… President Trump has been focused on pet projects like his expansive and costly renovations at the White House and around the nation’s capital. By Tyler Pager Reporting from Washington June 26, 2026Updated 1:24 p.m. ET President Trump says he doesn’t care about the midterm elections. He says he doesn’t think much about Americans’ economic hardship resulting from the war in Iran. And now he is brushing off a landmark, bipartisan bill to lower housing costs in the United States, characterizing the legislation as a matter of “minor importance.” At a moment of political peril for the president and Republicans, Mr. Trump’s priorities seem increasingly detached from the concerns of voters and his party. Cardinal Gerhard Müller spoke at the June 26 consistory about the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), IlGiornale.it reports. He addressed the FSSPX's allegations that the Vatican has deviated from the Church's magisterium. Cardinal Müller proposed preparing a response to the Fraternity that would affirm that Rome has never abandoned the path of Catholicism, contrary to their claims. He also said that, following Wednesday's episcopal consecrations, many Lefebvrists would seek to enter into full canonical communion with the Church. The Vatican should prepare to welcome them back by proposing a structure modelled on the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, which was established by Pope John Paul II in 1988. Cardinal Müller's intervention was received without comment during the session. Picture: Vatican Media, #newsVrgqbzlram

On June 25, skinny Paulist Father Chris Lawton celebrated an annual homosex Eucharist at the Stonewall National Monument in Christopher Park, New York City. Around 150 people attended, reports NcrOnline.org. The Eucharist was organized by the notorious homosexual parish St. Paul the Apostle in Manhattan. It took place at the start of 'New York Pride weekend'. The location was disfigured with dozens of rainbow flags. Fr Lawton apologized to homosexuals for times when the Church had failed to recognize God's presence in them. He believes that „transgender Catholics” continue to face unique injustice within the Church. He added that there is a movement toward inclusion of homosexuals underway in the Church: "The train has left the station. And we are going somewhere." Since February 6, the Archdiocese of New York has been led by Monsignor Ronald Hicks - another of Leo XIV's bad appointments. #newsBcfrbukhdr
Wall Street Apes @WallStreetApes This is the PERFECT example of why foreigners should not be allowed to run for office Zul Mohammed just ran for Mayor of Carrollton, Texas. He’s from Pakistan “No vet has made any sacrifice. I want to make that clear. I do not support the US military. No, I do not support the United States. I look down on both entities. I want to make that clear” I can’t think of a better example of why only natural born citizens should be allowed to run for office Also he is a Muslim, which further enforces the classic “I do not support the United States” We need new election eligibility laws
Football Match Broadcast Inside Church. Worse than Germany: A football match between France and Norway, which France won 4–1, was broadcast inside a church in Ligny-en-Barrois, France. According to the parish, the church was used because of the heat wave, providing spectators with a cooler venue. During the event, the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, a symbol of the French Revolution, was played inside the church.

Yes, Skipping Sunday Mass (Without a Good Reason) Is a Grave Sin: Mass isn’t just a nice thing to do if you’re particularly religious or “super Catholic”; rather, it’s the cornerstone of any authentic Catholic life.
Of the roughly 53 million adults who identify as Catholic in the United States, only about three in ten say they attend Mass weekly or more often. This is obviously a big problem! It’s a problem for several reasons, not least of which that Mass is a source of necessary grace for our souls. But there’s another serious reason that many self-identified Catholics may not fully understand: If a Catholic knows that Mass attendance is required on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, has Mass nearby he can attend, does not have a “grave cause” to miss Mass, but still skips Mass, he commits a grave sin. Yes, you aren’t just a bad Catholic, you’re committing a sin you will need to confess in Reconciliation for the sake of your soul. Mass isn’t just a nice thing to do if you’re particularly religious or “super Catholic”; rather, it’s the cornerstone of any authentic Catholic life. In fact, of the five precepts of the Church (what the Catechism calls the “necessary minimum” for being a …
2 Kings 4:8-11, 14-16a “The one who stops at our house to dine is a holy man of God.” Elisha, like Elijah, is a man who simply radiates God’s blessings. Romans 6:3-4, 8-11 “Through baptism, we are dead to sin and living for God in Christ Jesus.” Baptism is entering into a relationship with God’s love. Matthew 10:37-42 “Whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones…” We present the cup of water, but it is the Lord who offers it. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
