Voters casting mail ballots must provide an identification number or Social Security number that matches state records. They also receive multiple chances to correct defects. Stronger rules protect those who need assistance from coercion or intimidation. This work is hard. It is often unseen. It consumes years of legal effort and quiet persistence. Yet it remains fundamental in a constitutional republic. Honest elections protect the dignity of lawful voters and guard the vulnerable. Christians are called by God to seek and defend the good in the public square. We labor for truth here with the same care we bring to prayer because justice in temporal affairs belongs to the mandate Christ has given us.
“Roman Mass Can Never Be Suppressed”: Masses in the traditional Roman rite are full of “young people, young married couples, and families with many children,” Cardinal Raymond Burke told Michael Knowles on August 15. Returning young Catholics “want the traditional liturgy,” he said. While there is no question that the Novus Ordo is valid, the older rite “communicates more fully and more richly the divine action.” Burke expects “an ever greater number of Catholics” to worship as Catholics did “for over 15 centuries”. Looking to Leo XIV, Cardinal Burke urges Catholics to make their wishes known “to their bishops and to the Holy Father most of all,” while making clear they are not questioning Vatican II. He insists the Mass “was never suppressed and never could be.” Burke recalls a bishop with “no attraction” to the Roman rite nevertheless describing its adherents as “some of our most devout Catholics” and asking: “Why would I deny that to them?”

Traditional basically means keeping the faith as it has always been taught, while conservative means following changes in the faith which are accepted and legal.
Well said, @solipso. By branding himself a "conservative," he attracts confused Catholics and ultimately serves the Conciliarists. While he is correct that the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) will never be suppressed, it is not for the secular reasons he claims, such as its popularity among young people. Instead, the TLM and the SSPX will endure because of Christ's own promise: the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church.

Bishop Olson Threatens SSPX Supporters with Excommunication: On August 14, Bishop Michael F. Olson of Fort Worth, Texas, issued a “pastoral” letter concerning the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) — using sharp and decidedly unsynodal language. He warns that knowingly providing public, organizational, material, or financial support to FSSPX communities is "objectively sinful" and "can result in excommunication." Bishop Olson even described the FSSPX as a “self-formed and schismatic sect.” He specifically mentioned two FSSPX churches within his diocese — Our Lady of Mount Carmel in North Richland Hills and Our Lady of Fatima in Sanger — as well as the former Carmelite Monastery of the Most Holy Trinity in Arlington, whose nuns have been in open conflict with Bishop Olson for years.
