US Bishop Abolishes Another Mass in Roman Rite: Bishop William F. Medley of Owensboro, Kentucky, has ordered Rev. David Kennedy to stop celebrating according to the Roman Missal after June 30. He will only permit the Novus Ordo celebrated in Latin and ad orientem instead. Bishop Medley explains he cannot certify - as Vatican instructions required - that the parish has taken steps to move the faithful toward the Novus Ordo. He delayed action to see if Leo XIV would reconsider Traditionis Custodes but proceeded after the Cardinals' January Consistory declined to revisit the document.

Saint Jose Isabel Flores Varela Additional Memorial 21 May as one of the Martyrs of the Mexican Revolution Profile Seminarian at Guadalajara, Mexico. Parish priest at Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, Mexico in 1900. Strong and gentle father to his flock, he refused to abandon his parish during the persecutions of the Church by the government; he went into hiding, and ministered covertly to his parishioners. The mayor of Zapotlanjejo, Jose Orozco, was virulently anti-Catholic, and offered a reward for the capture of any priest. Father Jose was betrayed for this reward, and arrested; his Judas was Nemesio Bermejo, an ex-seminarian who lived with Flores. Flores was offered his freedom if he would accept the anti-Church Calles government; he declined. Orozco turned the Zapotlanejo rectory into a jail, threw Flores into it, gave him no food or water for three days, played music outside the gaol so he could not sleep, and repeatedly offered him freedom in exchange for cooperation; Father Jose declined. …Ossotina
Bishop Richard Williamson (+ January 2025) allegedly confirmed to Sean Johnson that he had conditionally consecrated a Archbishop Carlo Viganò, 85, a bishop in 2023. Johnson's publication is consistent with information previously received by Gloria.tv from independent ecclesiastical sources. Viganò was consecrated a bishop by Pope John Paul II in 1992. Since 2023, a persistent rumour about the conditional [second] consecration of Viganò has circulated. Johnson’s article claims that he emailed Viganò twice in November and December 2023 asking about those rumours but didn’t receive a reply. Then, Johnson contacted Williamson. The central statement attributed to Bishop Williamson regarding …Ossotina
God bless Bishop Williamson. Perhaps Vigano was "Conditionally Confirmed" by Williamson but that doesn't take away from the fact that Vigano is playing all sides, especially "holy Russia's." I do not doubt the validity of Williamson's act but whether Vigano was in a state to be able to receive it.

Pope Leo XIV said in April 2026 that the Church’s teaching on sexual ethics must be less prioritized over “greater, more important issues.” “We tend to think that when the Church is talking about morality, that the only issue of morality is sexual. And in reality, I believe there are much greater, more important issues, such as justice, equality, freedom of men and women, freedom of religion, that would all take priority before that particular issue.”

The Diocese of Arlington, in Northern Virginia, has announced the creation of a new apostolate entrusted to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP), Bishop Michael Burbidge announced on June 19. Father Jonathan Romanoski FSSP and Father John Audino FSSP have been appointed to the Chaplaincy. Following the motu proprio Traditionis Custodes in 2021, the Diocese of Arlington experienced a unprecedented eradication of Masses in the Roman rite. With 21 locations, Arlington Diocese was one of the strongest for the Roman Rite in the United States. In 2022, the Diocese of Arlington reduced the number of "permitted" Mass locations from 21 to 8. Of those eight locations, only three - Saint Rita in Alexandria, Saint John the Beloved in McLean, and Saint Anthony of Padua Mission in Falls Church - received Vatican permission to continue Masses in parish churches. The remaining five communities were relocated to non-parish churches. #newsYopiywpnrj
Breaking News DMSO: Restoring vision in disorders considered untreatable DMSO is a proven “umbrella remedy” that treats dozens of “incurable” conditions and protects delicate tissues (especially the brain and eyes) from otherwise fatal injuries such as a complete loss of blood flow. DMSO has a unique, almost magnetic affinity for the eyes, routinely restoring vision in disorders conventional medicine considers untreatable – including decades-long and lifelong blindness. DMSO shields the retina from ischemic strokes, intense light damage (e.g., staring directly at the sun) and progressive degenerative diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa, glaucoma and many others covered below. Clinical studies and dozens of reader reports confirm DMSO halts or reverses macular degeneration – often returning eyesight that patients believed was gone forever. Beyond severe disease, DMSO dramatically improves everyday vision: sharper focus, better contrast and night vision, fewer floaters, and many people …
On June 20, Leo XIV has appointed Rev Elímar Gerardo Carvajal Durán, 50, as Bishop of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Strong Synodal Profile By September 2022, Rev. Carvajal had assumed a leading role in coordinating the Diocese of Alajuela's Diocesan Synodal Process. In a September 28, 2022 talk on the Youtube channel of the Diocese of Alajuela, Monsignor Carvajal uses all of the Francis’ buzzwords such as "the synodal Church", "the reality is always before the idea", “listening to the cries of people”, etc. His Language Speaks Volumes In a September 5, 2023 video, Monsignor Carvajal said that discernment and synodality …Ossotina

I saw the Dr. David Anders on his EWTN show this week say that Methodist Church allowing abortion is offset by how good their hymns are. Only a pro-abortion TV commentator would dare say that.
Human beings are the most helpless newborns in all of nature. They cannot walk, speak, or regulate their body temperature. If left alone for just a few hours, they die. And yet, we build cities and reach the moon. This is not a paradox. It is the central mechanism of everything we are. In this video, we explore how the human brain almost destroyed our species, why we are born incomplete, and how that fragility gave rise to empathy, cooperation, and intelligence.
Monsignor Livio Melina (pictured with Benedict XVI), former president (2006-2016) of the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, has written on Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia’s role in the suppression of the original Institute. Melina responded on LaNuovaBq.it (June 20) to a May 21 interview Paglia gave to Settimana News. “Cover for an Unconfessable Interest” Melina’s most striking accusation comes near the end of his essay: “Paglia’s actions were not moved by theological reasons, but by an ideological criticism of the Institute.” He suggests that ideology serves to hide deeper motives: “Ideology, as Karl Marx taught us, functions as a cover for an unconfessable interest.” Melina suggests that the suppression may have stemmed from a conviction that the Church's traditional teaching on marriage and family is "unreasonable" and "impracticable". "No Facts, Only Interpretations" - Nietzsche Melina accuses Paglia's paradigm of resting on the "principle of …Ossotina
