The Holiness Jesus Actually Demands Today
The gospel reading emphasizes the need for holiness that surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees and rejects the notion of universal salvation. The importance of living out the teachings of scripture is emphasized, particularly regarding anger, forgiveness, and treating others with compassion, mercy, and humility. St. Peter’s letter to persecuted Christians underscores the call to bless those who abuse us, inheriting a blessing in return, and stresses the importance of prayer to achieve this supernatural holiness.
St. Peter reminds us that true holiness requires more than just outward appearances; it demands a genuine transformation of the heart. We are called to turn away from evil, seek peace, and live out the teachings of Christ, even if it means suffering for righteousness. This requires a deep belief in scripture, not just in our heads, but in our hearts, leading us to be the light and leaven in our society.

Cardinal Burke Sees "No State of Emergency": Ordaining bishops without a papal mandate will have to be punished, Cardinal Raymond Burke told PerMariam.com. He hopes Leo XIV will appoint cardinals to continue talks with the FSSPX, saying reconciliation remains possible. Cardinal Burke, a canon lawyer, rejected rumours that all FSSPX members could be declared excommunicated: "I don’t think that can be sustained". Furthermore, he dismissed the FSSPX's claim of a "state of emergency" to justify episcopal consecrations. While acknowledging serious difficulties in the Church, he insisted that Catholics must remain faithful within the Church: "No situation justifies doing something that is intrinsically evil."

EXCLUSIVE: Cardinal Burke on the Consistory and SSPX consecrations

VATICAN CITY (PerMariam) — Cardinal Raymond Burke has given his assessment of the recent Extraordinary Consistory along with the upcoming episcopal consecrations of the Society of Saint Pius X, noting some remaining concerns about the consistory format, while lamenting the planed consecrations.
Speaking with Per Mariam following the recent consistory, Cdl. Burke offered a summary of the event which drew just under 180 cardinals to Rome for the second such meeting of Leo XIV’s pontificate. As many have similarly done, Burke welcomed the return of consistory’s to the Vatican’s regular life, since it offers a chance to “discuss important questions with regard to the Church.”
But he also raised his concerns about the small table “synodal” group method which has largely replaced the traditional open discussion. As for synodality itself, on which the cardinals were briefed during Saturday’s meeting, the American prelate said that it “remains unresolved.”
“There really needs to be a …

WHITE SMOKE 1958 -27- MANEUVERS

Third possibility:
How could the cardinals of the 1958 conclave accept without protest the resignation of Pius XII's successor half an hour after he had accepted the office? We can conjecture that the manoeuvres of a few traitors consisted of:
1- persuading the new Pope to resign for the good of the Church or for some other cause;
2- ensuring that the new Pope in turn persuaded the cardinals that it was legitimate for him to resign for the same reasons;
3- ensuring that no coercion was apparent so that everyone would believe that this resignation was made freely.

The fact that Tucho and Prevost do not laicize priests convicted of pederasty demonstrates that neither of them possesses the legitimate authority to laicize any Catholic priest.

Leo Laicizes Priest Who Dared to Call Francis a ‘Heretic’

Pope Leo XIV has decreed the dismissal from the clerical state of Francisco José Vegara Cerezo, who served as a priest of the Spanish Diocese of Orihuela-Alicante, following a canonical process that was initiated due to his repeated public rejection of the authority of Pope Francis and, subsequently, of Leo XIV himself.
The case dates back to 2023, when a dialogue with Vegara Cerezo began following the publication of a 20-page manifesto (original Spanish version or translated English version) (in which he labeled Pope Francis a “heretic” and questioned the validity of his election.
The now laicized priest also criticized texts such as the apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia, by the late Argentine pontiff, and the declaration Fiducia Supplicans, from the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.
In 2024, Vegara Cerezo’s obstinacy led his bishop, José Ignacio Munilla, to remove him from any office or position within the diocese.
Munilla admonished Vegara Cerezo in February 2024 …

The Anglican Church of Canada Publishes Pastoral Liturgies Blessing Euthanasia

This article was published by the National Review online on June 26, 2026
Wesley Smith
By Wesley J Smith
The Anglican Church of Canada has authorized clergy to bless people being euthanized just before, during, and after being lethally jabbed (when permitted by the bishop). From “Pastoral Liturgies at the Time of Death in Contexts of Medically Assisted Dying”:
It is not our intent to enter into the ethical arguments regarding MAiD, nor to provide a moral argument for or against MAiD. . . . No matter where people are in their life journey, we as a Christian community and Christian leaders in particular are called to respond pastorally to the needs and concerns of the people before us. Wherever the church serves, we are the Body of Christ reaching out to the suffering, the sick, and the dying. When someone reaches out for pastoral care, the church responds: there is a duty of pastoral care.
If the Anglican Church can’t enter into an ethical argument about euthanasia what is the point …

Never heard of this anywhere in America. Does anyone do this in any place you live in the US. I would like to know. Because I never heard of it nor seen it. Each video under a minute. If you have pictures of this sort of celebration your city has for Graduation students that would be great!

Taking apart appliances for chips. Then there is no toilet paper, no electricity as he is recording with his lights on. Showing how the city is lit up and so much more. Latest ones is the gas and an oil spill the US and Europe is trying to say destroyed their beaches. As he walks from one end to the other showing just who clean and beautiful the Black Sea still is. He better watch it or there will be a number FIVE deletion of his channel.

Fatima: the most urgent Consecration - Pax Orbis

As the episcopal consecrations draw near, we are reminded of another, even more urgent and vital Consecration, the absence of which could be said to necessitate these extraordinary actions of the Society of Saint Pius X. That is, it is necessary for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as instructed by Our Lord and Our Lady during the Fatima apparitions.

Archbishop Lefebvre on Fatima
Archbishop Lefebvre himself drew a connection between the message of Fatima and his decision to perform the initial episcopal consecrations in 1988. The previous year, on June 29th, he had written with regard to the unpublished portion of the Fatima secret:
“They have not wanted to reveal her secret. They have buried the message of the Virgin Mary. Without a doubt this message was supposed to prevent what is happening today. If her message had been known, it is very probable that we would not have gone so far and that the situation in Rome would not be what it is today. The …

The State of Affairs at L'Osservatore Romano: During today's Angelus, Pope Leo XIV greeted homeless people present in St Peter's Square who were distributing L'Osservatore di strada, a supplement of L'Osservatore Romano. According to Silere non possum, Andrea Monda, editor-in-chief of L'Osservatore Romano, requested that a greeting to the distributors be included in the Pope's prepared text. Monda attended the Angelus in St Peter's Square. SilereNonPossum.com adds that Monda does not usually go to the office even on days when he is expected to be there, that public interest in L'Osservatore di strada is "non-existent," and that Monda is personally responsible for the costly project out of an "obsession."

Among the greetings drafted by the Prefecture of the Papal Household for the Pope was one addressed to the homeless people present in St Peter’s Square to distribute L’Osservatore di strada, a supplement to L’Osservatore Romano.
Naturally, the request came from Andrea Monda himself. A man who does not usually go to the office even on the days when he is expected to be there was hardly likely to spend a Sunday in St Peter’s Square beneath the scorching Roman sun of recent days. But having secured confirmation from the Prefecture that the short passage had been inserted into the text prepared for the Pope, Monda could not miss the occasion. He had to be there, he had to be seen, he had to make his presence visible at the very moment Leo XIV spoke about the costly paper. And so there he was in St Peter’s Square, beside a banner that had cost hundreds of euros, waving his arms about in his embarrassing braces to greet the Pope, who, puzzled …More

As noted here, Father Chad Ripperger says obsession with aliens constitutes an attempt to "supplant Christianity."
Fr. Chad Ripperger highlighted several aspects of the alien narrative as evidence that it is intended to replace Christianity as a cosmological framework.
During a discussion on aliens and demons with Catholic podcaster Timothy Gordon and guest Frank Wright of the Quite Frankly podcast, Fr. Ripperger affirmed a relationship between the occult and reports of aliens when suggested by Frank.
One of the signs of the relationship of “aliens” to demons is the supposed backstory of these extraterrestrial beings that gives an “alternate explanation” to the creation of the universe in which the aliens came to earth and “seeded” us as offspring. This idea excludes the biblical understanding of original sin and Adam and Eve, Fr. Ripperger noted.
Another indicator of their relationship to the demonic is the idea that aliens have “come to save us from ourselves” and to enlighten us …

Why Liturgy Was Left Out at the Consistory

Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline of Marseille, France, told French daily Le Figaro on June 25 why liturgy was left off the agenda for the June consistory.
Recalling the January consistory, where he served as secretary of one of the French-speaking discussion groups, Aveline said: "At that table, I voted in favor of discussing the liturgy—but I was the only one."
The other French-speaking cardinals in his group came from different countries and did not regard liturgy as a priority.
According to Aveline, a similar pattern emerged in many other discussion groups. As a result, the liturgical question received the fewest votes and was not included among the topics for the June consistory.

Vatican Appeal Court Upholds Conviction of Becciu Accuser: The Vatican Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of Nicola Giampaolo for slandering Cardinal Angelo Becciu over his role at the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints. The ruling confirms the Vatican Tribunal's October 2025 judgment, leaving Giampaolo's three-and-a-half-year prison sentence and damages in place. The case stemmed from Giampaolo's claims on the Italian TV program Report that money had been requested to advance the beatification cause of former Italian Prime Minister and personal friend of Pope Paul VI, Aldo Moro. The Vatican has now definitively ruled those allegations were criminal slander.

Holy Mother Church fostered this doctrine age after age in many ways and by solemn acts.
Liturgical Argument.
The Catholic Church, directed by the Holy Spirit of God, is the pillar and base of truth and has ever held as divinely revealed and as contained in the deposit of heavenly revelation this doctrine concerning the original innocence of the august Virgin — a doctrine which is so perfectly in harmony with her wonderful sanctity and preeminent dignity as Mother of God — and thus has never ceased to explain, to teach and to foster this doctrine age after age in many ways and by solemn acts. From this very doctrine, flourishing and wondrously propagated in the Catholic world through the efforts and zeal of the bishops, was made very clear by the Church when she did not hesitate to present for the public devotion and veneration of the faithful the Feast of …More
