Following government directives, public Easter services in Dubai have been cancelled since Good Friday. The regime's excuse is that tensions in the Middle East are escalating. Dubai has two Catholic parishes - Saint Mary's and Saint Francis of Assisi in Jebel Ali. Both have confirmed the closures on their websites and will remain closed "until further notice". Saint Mary’s Church is one of the largest Catholic parishes in the world, with around 30,000 members, many of whom are Filipino workers. On Good Friday, many Catholics who had not been informed of the closure were seen praying outside on the pavement instead. Easter liturgies were only being streamed online. Bishop Paolo Martinelli, Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia, acknowledged worshippers' disappointment at missing Holy Week celebrations. #newsAfvbsxvwah

And in the darkness, gloom untold the ancient light has shone: an angel of forgotten Lord rolled back the burial stone....
Resurrection Here, where the dumb and stalwart ox raised halls of common sense with towers of heavenly rocks, on debris new thing stands. A heifer, red or tangerine, or golden like fool’s gold: the trademark of the stranger’s dream, New Order to behold. * Thus, sons of parents valiant, free agreed to be enslaved, and masters of great perfidy were dancing on the grave. Vile passions were unleashed at length, yet no one took the blame, but some who had a little strength had not denied the Name. * And in the darkness, gloom untold the ancient light has shone: an angel of forgotten Lord rolled back the burial stone.

Many dioceses across Europe, North America, and Asia have seen significant increases in Catholic baptisms and conversions this Easter. The strange thing is that anti-Catholic media including New York Times, Washington Post or CNN advertised this trend. The most significant increase was reported in France, where 21,386 catechumens were baptized during the Easter Vigil. The total included more than 13,000 adults and over 8,000 adolescents, marking the highest figure ever recorded in the country. Outside Europe, large numbers were also reported in parts of Asia. In Hong Kong, approximately 2,500 catechumens were baptized, while Singapore reported 1,089 catechumens entering the Church. In North America, several major dioceses published substantial baptism figures. The Archdiocese of Toronto reported 1,584 catechumens, while Vancouver recorded around 650 catechumens. In the United States, diocesan figures included approximately 900 catechumens in Richmond (Virginia), more than 680 in …Makîria
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: "They had to destroy ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine… because if they had acknowledged that it was effective in anybody, the whole $200 billion vaccine enterprise would have collapsed."
Daniel Davis on YouTube has a recent interview with Robert Barnes, a constitutional lawyer who has done commendable work, including defending the Amish during the lockdowns. In it he has a short expose on the handcuffing of JFK junior going on the current administration. Very unsettling. Carry on Christian soldiers. Mother Mary strengthen us.
84-year-old Catholic woman rejects euthanasia offer at Vancouver hospital
When Miriam Lancaster went to the hospital for severe back pain, she was stunned to be offered euthanasia instead of real care. In this conversation, she shares how that moment exposed a terrifying shift in our culture: suffering patients are being treated as problems to “solve,” not persons to love. She says, her husband had also been offered assisted su*cide a few years earlier as well. From a Catholic perspective, Miriam’s story is a stark reminder that every life—especially when it’s fragile, disabled, or in pain—is precious, unrepeatable, and entrusted to us by God, not the state or the medical system. Her witness challenges us to build a society that offers compassion, accompaniment, and authentic palliative care, never a lethal injection disguised as “dignity.”
History unjustly sullied her name without evidence, but Mary Magdalene emerges from the Gospel a faithful, courageous and noble woman, an apostle to the Apostles.

Let us look at this, behold, the image before us, this cross, bloodstained with the Most Holy Blood, the cross to which they nail our Saviour mercilessly!Let us close our ears, for behold, we seem to hear the hammering of the hammer, the sound of the nails, and the silent groaning, and the violent thumping of the heart of Jesus; behold, they have pierced those blessed hands which have brought so many blessings into the world, which have raised themselves for us in constant prayer to heaven, at every miracle, at every grace, those almighty hands which, having created the whole world, have blessed the world; Here they pierced with nails those sacred feet, untiring in their work for the earth, feet that bled constantly during their lifetime in the merciful pursuit of sinners; here they pierced the sacred side and the loving heart, our only refuge from the angry God! Behold, already the cross is lifted up in the sight of the whole world; and from that cross flows blood abundantly!… Ah!let …Makîria

2010 Holy Fire Miracle: Christians unite in Easter celebrations. RussiaToday Apr 3, 2010 Christians around the world are marking Holy Saturday, the day before Easter. It commemorates the day Jesus lay in the tomb - and this year it's celebrated on the same day by Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant believers. Thousands of pilgrims from across the globe have gathered in Jerusalem to see the centuries old 'Holy Fire' ritual. The vigil - seen as a message from Jesus that he hasn't forgotten his followers - sees the arrival of the 'sacred fire' which is then used to light candles shared among the crowds. Viewed by Christians as a 'miracle' - the event happens yearly and takes place in the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem on Holy Saturday. The centuries old ritual symbolises new beginnings, cleansing and the start of spring. Meanwhile, final preparations before Easter are going ahead in Russian churches with traditional services being held for thousands of believers. Eggs, and special …Makîria
