German Lutheran Synod President Grabs at Catholic Congress Communion: On Ascension, May 14, Anna-Nicole Heinrich, President of the Synod of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), grabbed Communion during the opening Eucharist of the German Catholic Congress ("Katholikentag"). She took Communion from a woman immediately after Bishop Heiner Wilmer of Münster, the president of the German bishops.
I thought I was no longer shockable, but the sight of the de facto leader of the German Catholic Church accompanying/encouraging/blessing a Lutheran receiving Communion proved me wrong. What destructive arrogance, on both their parts.

On 21 May, Fsspx.news published a message from Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X, addressed to its members regarding the Episcopal Consecrations. The text was signed March 7. Main points, slightly shortened. - While the state of necessity could already be invoked in 1988, this state of necessity is, unfortunately, even more evident in 2026. - There is a positive aspect to this situation. The announcement on 2 February left no one in the Catholic Church indifferent. Almost everyone feels concern and the need to express their approval or disapproval. - The reason behind the decision to proceed with episcopal consecrations is the salvation of souls. This should not be seen as mere rhetoric or a simple canonical justification. - We must love the Church, even if its official representatives were to declare us excommunicated and schismatic once again. - We must never succumb to bitterness. - We must remember that if Divine Providence grants us the …ተጨማሪ
The Superior General of the SSPX has defended the Society’s decision to consecrate bishops this summer, arguing that the “state of necessity” first invoked by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1988 is now “even more evident in 2026”. Fr Davide Pagliarani also warned that any declaration of excommunication or schism against the Society “would be objectively unjust”.

Retired Swiss Bishop Marian Eleganti wrote a blog post on May 21 about the synodal “occupational therapy” ordered by the Vatican. Main points slightly shortened. - What comes from Rome — the workshop behind the universally proclaimed synodal process — is human wisdom. Apparently, its protagonists have nothing better to do than keep issuing instructions to local churches on how to manage and sustain this synodal process, a stillbirth from the start. - It is the full-time actors of this dysfunctional, committee-run Church who busy themselves - at great expense - with commissioned management tools and synodal papers. - Nothing comes of it except ever more documents to read, heterodox study results, and newly invented committees — on top of the many already existing ones. - By now, it has become clear what this process aims at: restructuring the Church’s longstanding doctrinal positions on divorce and remarriage, homosexuality and the broader queer agenda, the synodal democratization of …ተጨማሪ
Statue of Our Lady Remained Untouched After a Fire: A fire severely damaged sections of Mother of Christ Specialist Hospital in Enugu, Nigeria, on May 10, destroying offices, hospital equipment, and part of the children’s ward. Hospital administrator Sister Maria Chinaemerem Igwe said the blaze may have been caused by a power surge. Despite the destruction, a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary near the administrator’s office remained completely untouched, even though nearby objects melted and burned. Sister Maria described the event as a miracle talking to EWTN.

The man featured for nearly 25 years on the cover of the Roman priest calendar “Calendario Romano” is not a priest. Giovanni Galizia, now 39, told La Repubblica he posed for the photo at age 17 in Palermo as a joke after meeting photographer Piero Pazzi. Galizia said he was never paid, never felt called to the priesthood, and now works in flight attendant training for a Spanish airline. He described the image as an aesthetic portrait of an embarrassed teenager whose friends were laughing during the shoot.
A calendar featuring close-ups of young, handsome priests has been a popular Rome souvenir for two decades. However, many of those photographed aren't actually priests.

"I am not married and I don't have children, but I am not alone. I also have a partner, a woman, who supports me in my role as a priest", Munich parish priest Rainer Maria Schießler told Katholisch.de on May 22. He added that he stands by his way of life, saying: "You don't just choose a partnership; it develops because people are sympathetic to one another, and ultimately, it's a great gift. For me, at any rate, it gives me tremendous strength and enormous support in my work and in my celibate [!] way of life." He continued: "As a priest, I have just as much a right to my private life." When asked if he had received enquiries from Munich Archbishop Reinhard Marx regarding his public comments about his "female partner", Rev Schießler replied: "No, there was never anything to hide or explain." Rev Schießler is notorious for blessing homosexuals (pictured) and causing liturgical scandals. #newsDbopvakddv
What do these scandals seek to achieve? To discredit the Church and assassinate souls. To cause more people to be lost—for when people witness the bad example set by their pastors, they use it to justify their own sins, and thus join in the rebellion against God.
In the Prophecy of Saint Francis of Assisi, we are told that scandals will increase during the usurpation of the Papacy; and evidently, there is no one in Rome to restore order—for they all belong to the same apostate, homosexual sect that rebels against God, promoting adultery, sodomy, divorce, the abolition of celibacy, female ordination, the worship of false gods from false religions, and so forth. In other words, the presence of those scandals that go unpunished confirms to us that there is no legitimate Pope—and much less a defender of the Faith.

illuminatibot @iluminatibot Ancient mysterious Wall in Russia In 2017, archaeologists discovered remnants of a significant wall system in the Altai Mountains, located in southern Siberia. This structure, often referred to as the "Great Wall of Siberia"
Ancient wall? If it's ancient and part of Russian history, they will preserve it. Protecting it from the eyes of evil people with evil intentions. They took video of the area and all things were normal but a wall. It's a wall. What is so strange about a wall. China and other countries had walls like this. Nothing unusual about them either. Russia will preserve "ALL" her history. The good as well as the bad. People make such a big deal out of nothing. The wall was man made. Wow! Maybe later on they will find out the bears and wolves did it? Stupid things people get so crazy over, it's unreal.
Pilgrimage in the Roman rite: This morning, the opening Mass of the Chartres pilgrimage was celebrated at Saint-Sulpice, the second-largest church in Paris. Some 20,000 pilgrims have now set out on the 110 km walk to Chartres Cathedral, where the pilgrimage will conclude with Holy Mass offered by Cardinal Burke. At the outset, the pilgrims received a blessing sent by the Archbishop of Paris.

Stefan Diefenbach, a former priest, co-authored the German guideline 'Blessing Gives Strength to Love' ('Segen gibt der Liebe Kraft') in April 2025 for homosexual couples. He spoke about it with katholisch.de on May 22. Diefenbach was a priest with the Arnstein Fathers. He left the order in 2005. Since 2016, he has been in a homosexual "marriage" with a male opera singer from Argentina. Diefenbach said that the guideline merely implements Fiducia Supplicans: "It is an attempt to 'translate' it for pastoral practice in Germany and make it fruitful." He was surprised by the vehemence of the criticism. And: "I cannot fully comprehend the criticism. The text of the guideline clearly states that blessings should be given freely and spontaneously, that no approved liturgical celebrations or prayers are provided for, and that there should be no confusion with a liturgical celebration of the sacrament of marriage." Diefenbach himself was not present at the discussions in the Vatican. "But I …ተጨማሪ
There Has Never Been an Example of Presidential Corruption Like This nytimes.com/…ion/trump-doj-slush-fund-criminals-c… May 20, 2026 By The Editorial Board The editorial board is a group of opinion journalists whose views are informed by expertise, research, debate and certain longstanding values. It is separate from the newsroom. Has there ever been an episode of presidential corruption so blatant and threatening to constitutional order? Certainly not in modern times. President Trump’s Justice Department is using taxpayer money to create a $1.8 billion political slush fund. Ostensibly set up to compensate those who the department claims have “suffered weaponization and lawfare,” it will in fact reward loyalists willing to defy the law and commit violence on behalf of the president. The fund manages to combine three of Mr. Trump’s most alarming behaviors. One, it is an obvious form of corruption, coming from a president who has used his office to enrich himself, his family and his …ተጨማሪ
nytimes.com/…world/middleeast/settler-attack-dog-… Cruelty has become commonplace in the West Bank, where extremist Israeli settlers beat and shoot Palestinians, steal their sheep, uproot their olive groves and torch cars and homes. The settlers, outlaws in a multitude of ways, seldom face consequences for their actions. But even for Palestinians living under the constant threat of being attacked, some violence retains the capacity to shock. That was the case when a video went viral that showed a settler menacing a year-and-a-half-old dog with a club in each fist — and swinging hard, beating her over the head.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it 'Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich' who mentioned "Mischievous Inter-Planetary Spirits"? ~ That would make more sense! ~
Bishop Franz Jung of Würzburg, Germany, is "totally fascinated" by Pope Leo XIV, praising him for emphasising unity and opposing "nationalism". The bishop offered this praise in an interview with K-TV.org on 15 May. He also applauded Leo XIV’s willingness to confront powerful political figures and praised him for "standing up to Trump". "That impresses me greatly," said Bishop Jung. He added: "I rejoice very much in this calm, thoughtful manner." He also revived discussion of his favourite topics: married priests ('viri probati'), the position of women in the Church, and whether lay people could be authorised to preach — a practice which is already widespread and even expected in many German dioceses. Bishop Jung identified only one minor problem within the German Synodal Way: insufficient coordination with Rome. According to him, the German bishops now want to "take the next steps" together with the Vatican. #newsOevherwnwz
