The FSSPX’s Christ the King pilgrimage opened in Lourdes on October 24, despite Bishop Jean-Marc Micas’ ban on celebrations inside the sanctuary’s basilicas. Pilgrims gathered under a large tent at Maison Saint-Ignace for four Masses. The day also included Stations of the Cross on the Espélugues hillside and individual prayers at the Grotto of Massabielle, as the faithful continued their pilgrimage despite the restrictions.

Islam is a “magnificent faith” for Italian bishops. During the presentation of 11 teaching materials for Catholic religion classes in Italian schools, Rev. Valentino Cottini, former rector of the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (PISAI), praised Islam. The presentation was attended by the presiding Italian Cardinal, Matteo Zuppi. Rev.
