A Buddhist monk recited a traditional Buddhist prayer at today's meeting in Assisi, attended by Cardinals and leaders of other religions. The prayer was delivered during the final ceremony, marking 40 years since the controversial 1986 Assisi meeting. The pagan monk said: “May the rains fall at the proper time. May the crops be abundant. May those who suffer find consolation. May all beings be happy. May peace reign in the world.” The prayer closely resembles traditional Theravāda Buddhist blessing verses preserved in Pāli, invoking prosperity, righteous rulers, and freedom from suffering. The verses do not explicitly address a personal deity.
Buddhist monk prays at the Assisi interreligious meeting: To conclude this message of peace, allow me to pray for one final moment. May there be no hostility. May everyone be at peace, living in safety and tranquility. May the rains fall at the proper time. May the crops be abundant. May prosperity be shared by all, and may those who govern be just. May those who suffer find consolation. May those who are afflicted find reassurance. May those who are broken find comfort. May all beings be happy. May peace reign in the world. Long live peace.
Bishop Robert Mutsaerts was initially hopeful about Leo XIV’s pontificate but is now beginning to have doubts. Pope Leo XIV ultimately bears responsibility for the decision to deny traditional Catholic pilgrims entry into St. Peter’s Basilica, Bishop Mutsaerts told The Remnant on October 26. While unsure whether Leo personally knew about the decision, Mutsaerts insisted: “Well, in the end, he is responsible. [...] Whatever the opposition might be in the Curia, you’re responsible.” Asked how long Catholics should continue giving Pope Leo the benefit of the doubt, Mutsaerts replied: “I was very hopeful in the beginning. Starting a little bit doubting. Maybe that’s not right to do that. [...] I hope things will turn out for the best.”
Dutch Bishop Mutsaerts discussed Pope Leo XIV’s responsibility for denying traditional Catholics entry into St. Peter’s Basilica (Remnant Interview): "Well, ultimately, he is responsible. As a pope, you have that power. You're responsible. Whatever the opposition in the Curia might be, you're responsible." When asked how long Catholics should give Pope Leo XIV the benefit of the doubt, Bishop Mutsaerts said: "Yes, I was very hopeful at first. But I'm starting to doubt. Maybe it's not right to do that. But I hope things will turn out for the best."
Zarnitsa 2.0 The 2026 version of Zarnitsa, as reported by Bout, involves drones, reconnaissance teams, combat squads, APCs, artillery, tanks, helicopters, simulated small-arms fire, simulated explosions, contested villages, and other realistic conditions soldiers are encountering on the Ukrainian battlefield. The instructors and commanders are veterans of the war against Ukraine and are teaching the youth what they learned.
The journey begun in Assisi in 1986 is “first and foremost the path of prayer”, Pope Leo XIV said in his video message to the Assisi peace meeting on its 40th anniversary. Leo XIV offered a questionable definition of prayer as “a school of dialogue with God, with people and with all creatures”. His message is constructed largely through quotations from John Paul II, Francis and himself. He believes that the “spirit of Assisi” must help build peace [without Christ]. Leo XIV added: “The path of Assisi calls religious leaders to foster a climate of dialogue amongst the faithful and within society, so that the language of arrogance may give way to the language of peace, negotiation and understanding.” #newsQmfgpropmf
SSPX bishop calls Assisi event 'great scandal … “This is a great, great scandal. It’s an offense against the first commandments of God,” stressed Goldade. As a result, the Catholic prelates involved did more than bring “our Lord down to the level of a false religion.”
The organisers of the annual pilgrimage Summorum Pontificum ‘Cœtus Internationalis Summorum Pontificum’ published an October 27 statement about the Vatican’s rejection to enter St Peter’S basilica. The text confirms that no Solemn Pontifical Mass was ever intended at St Mary Major Basilica, thus a supposed downgrading of such a liturgy to a low Mass was a false rumour. A little known information is that the Marian basilica wasn’t offered by the Vatican as an alternative. The organizers contacted Cardinal Rolandas Makrickas, archpriest of Saint Mary Major, who agreed to hold the Mass in the basilica. Joseph Shaw, president of Una Voce International, believes that “the organizers considered this year's pilgrimage a success: in fact, an almost miraculous success”. Statement of the Cœtus Internationalis Summorum Pontificum The organizers of the pilgrimage wish to thank His Eminence Cardinal Makrickas, Archpriest of the Basilica of St. Mary Major, and Monsignor Ivan Ricupero, Master of …Mer
The Smile of Our Lady Russia’s diabolical struggle to subjugate Ukraine has failed, especially in its attempt to stamp out the Catholic faithful. If anything, the invasion might well become a modern-day Damascus Road story. Saul persecuted the early Church and was knocked off his horse and struck blind. Our Lord’s words converted him, transforming him into the great Apostle Saint Paul. Similarly, will Russia’s aggressive overreach have set the stage for its own spiritual conversion at the hands of Ukraine, its victim? Crusade Magazine
For the second year running, Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago wants to honour abortion politicians. In 2025, Senator Dick Durbin withdrew following protests by bishops. This year, Michael J. Sacks - who donated $600,000 to an Illinois initiative that provides abortion including at Planned Parenthood - is set to receive the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Nostra Aetate Award on 29 October. Cardinal Cupich has defended the decision. In a statement issued yesterday, he wrote: 'Simply put, honouring individuals who do not share core Catholic teachings recognises their dignity, leadership role, and service to their community, without implying an endorsement of every statement or stance they maintain.'
@Instaurare Omnia in Christo states " The Catholic Church teaches it's "COMMUNISM" NOT THE KREMLIN that is a sin." And Pius the XI states, DIVINI REDEMPTORIS ENCYCLICAL OF POPE PIUS XI ON ATHEISTIC COMMUNISM, " In fact, the most persistent enemies of the Church, who from Moscow are directing the struggle against Christian civilization, themselves bear witness, by their unceasing attacks in word and act, " Ok so it's not the Kremlin. Who are you going to beleive?
A very wise and great leader. Why do some hate him so much? Because they are fed as much propaganda as the evil can promote. Banning and censoring everything to keep the truth from the people. I am yet to post Russian channels on yt which you can hear/read whatever President Putin says. This way you can always compare it to what you are fed by our governments and the globalists. Whether it's twisted articles of propaganda, edited video's or even lame memes. That's for those that are sick and tired of what they are fed and seek the truth. Who don't mind doing a bit of research. I have so many things I am working on that I have not finished any of them yet. But I will try extra hard to get that list out soon.
Once again, the hypocrisy and deceitfulness of Prevost’s false peace are laid bare: while he parrots the mantra of “everyone, everyone, everyone” and “open doors” to promote illegal immigration, he closes the doors—and expels—those Catholics who refuse to join his rebellion against God and the Church.
The blind leading the blind. +++ +++ It only took a procession to know what is going on in the Catholic Church, the faithful path was blocked and even security added for the same type of Catholics the Biden administation wanted to infiltrate and prosecute, the traditional pilgrimage was stopped, yet the LGBTQ procession inside tha Vatican were welcomed. In such blockage and the past welcoming of the abomination that causes desolation it is more than clear, way beyond than crystal clear, the Vatican has embrace the world and lost the faith, YET, in the novus ordo world is another business as usual day, I know, I have the pulse of 2 major Catholic countries, the Philippines and the Dominican Republic and with both Catholic nations, people still walk around the churches blindfolded. It is like when st Paul was out and about butchering christians, our Lord had to step in and topple him down in order for him to truly see, Paul's eyes saw the Truth for the first time, such Light gave the …Mer
